Merry (early) Christmas, everyone! This month has been an adventure in new types of arts and crafts, learning about Christmas and winter, singing and dancing to new songs, and just enjoying the season. Today MintLeaf Nagano had our annual Christmas Party, and it was even more fun than the teachers thought it would be! On the 2nd floor, there was a “talent show” where some of the children performed in front of everyone by playing piano, singing, and even ballet! Downstairs in the 0-2 years class, we danced and sang together, did a scavenger hunt for Christmas-related items, and played musical chairs (椅子取りゲーム) .

Then one of the Saturday teachers came and performed a Christmas panel theater show for us! The children could clap, sing along, and even decorate a Christmas tree! It was a great way to end our morning Christmas Party. After nap time, there was Christmas cake with fresh fruits, and Santa delivered presents to all the children. Hooray!

December is a cold and dark time of the year, and it’s important to stay warm and cheerful by spending time with your loved ones; whether it’s your parents, friends, spouse, or children. We (MintLeaf staff) hope that everyone has a safe, warm, and happy Christmas weekend. Be safe and find joy!

皆様、メリー（アーリー）クリスマス！ 今月は、新しく芸術品や工芸品を作ってみたり、クリスマスや冬について学び、新しい歌に合わせて歌ったり踊ったり、季節そのものを楽しんでいました。 今日はMintLeaf Naganoで毎年恒例のクリスマス会があり、先生たちが思っていた以上に楽しかったです！ 2階では、ピアノや歌、バレエなどをみんなの前で披露する「タレントショー」が行われていました！ 0～2 歳のクラスでは、階下で一緒に踊ったり歌ったり、クリスマス関連のアイテムを探すスカベンジャーハント（宝探し）をしたり、椅子取りゲームをしたりしました。

それから土曜日保育を担当している先生が来て、私たちのためにクリスマスのパネルシアターショーを披露してくれました! 子どもたちは拍手したり、一緒に歌ったり、クリスマス ツリーをパネルに飾ったりすることもできました。 午前中のクリスマスパーティーを締めくくる素晴らしい方法でした。 お昼寝の後は、フレッシュフルーツを使ったクリスマスケーキが登場、サンタさんが子供たち全員にプレゼントを届けました。 ヤッホー！
