We had our annual Halloween Party last Friday (28th), and it was a blast! We learned about what Halloween is with a funny and cute panel theater show (thank you, Nobuko sensei!). We also had a “fashion show” so all the children could show off their costumes, a puppet show to excite (and scare) the children before they went trick-or-treating outside, and finally we had an outdoor Halloween dance party after taking some group photos!

The trick-or-treating was probably the most fun for the children, and it was a great experience for the teachers, too, because this year we had help from the community! Some of the businesses and neighbors near MintLeaf volunteered to help out with the trick-or-treating, and they even wore costumes! To all of you who helped us, thank you again!

To top it all off, in the afternoon we had a delicious Halloween snack (even the teachers got one, woohoo!) that was decorated with a cute little “marshmallow ghost”! Thank you, kitchen staff! It was D-E-LICIOUS!

先週の金曜日 (28 日) に毎年恒例のハロウィーン パーティーを開催しました。 楽しくてかわいいパネルシアターショーでハロウィンとは何かを学びました（のぶこ先生ありがとう！）。 また、すべての子供たちが衣装を披露できるように「ファッションショー」を行い、外でトリック・オア・トリートをする前に子供たちを興奮させる（そして怖がらせる）パペットショーを行い、最後に屋外でハロウィンダンスパーティーを行いました。 集合写真！

トリック・オア・トリートはおそらく子供たちにとって最も楽しいものでした。今年はコミュニティの助けがあったので、スタッフにとっても素晴らしい経験になりました! MintLeaf の近くの企業や近所の人たちの中には、トリック・オア・トリートを手伝ってくれる人もいて、仮装もしていました。 お世話になった皆様、改めまして、ありがとうございました！

最後に、午後には、かわいい小さな「マシュマロおばけ」で飾られたおいしいハロウィーンのおやつを食べました (先生たちも)。 ありがとう、キッチンスタッフ！ 大変美味しかったです！
